We started off the class by writing a notecard about our new draft. We read the poem Gloss by Angie Estes. Lauren gave us her genre presentation about comedy spoof style movies. Then, Bridget gave us her genre presentation about Quentin Tarantino movies. Evan led us in a discussion about shitty first drafts. We then talked about how the paper would be graded and the criteria it needs to cover. We took a vote on whether or not we grade on overall quality or improvement. Improvement won by a few votes. We then got together I groups of four two go through a peer review process. In the groups of four we went over each person’s paper and gave them feedback based on the rubric given. We began to talk about the research paper. We should start looking for a person to interview. Due next class we have to read and remix BLOG #4.
